S.I.E.A. Services

The business of the Authority is the generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity throughout the Solomon Islands. The SIEA head quarters is located in Honiara. The Authority also has branches throughout Solmon Isalands; Auki, Gizo, Noro, Munda, Buala, Tulagi, Malu'u, Kirakira and Lata.

Rebasing of Fuel Tariff

On the 1st October 2005 and on the 1st of every five year period thereafter, the Base Tariff for each customer category shall be adjusted by adding the Fuel Tariff that applies on the 30th September of that year to the current Base Tariff for the particular customer cateogry.

As at the 1st October 2007 and on the 1st October of every year period thereafter, the Base Fuel Price per litre shall be the quarterly average price per litre in respect of the immediately preceeding quarter.
