My bill is too high !!!
Just as a barometer is a device used to measure the atmospheric pressure or a sonometer is a measuring device to measure the sensitivity of hearing, we have a the electric meter that is a measuring device used to measure the quantity of electricity used.
At the end of the month you are charged for the electricity your appliances have drawn into your home over a period of one month. SIEA does not force electricity through your meter into your home. If there is nothing drawing power into your home, then you can expect not to be billed for any electric use. However, if you have appliances that uses electricity, then you can expect to be billed for any electricity use. The more electricity that is being drawn into your house for use by any electrical appliance will result in a larger bill.
Energy Saving Tips
With the recent increase in the Fuel Price Adjustment, consumers are urged to use their electricity wisely. SIEA would like to suggest some energy saving tips, to help you save on your monthly bill.
